El Premio Nobel de Literatura de 2003, John Maxwell Coetzee, es el primer autor seleccionado para inaugurar el proyecto “Escribir el Prado”, una iniciativa conjunta con la Fundación Loewe que invita a escritores de renombre internacional a interpelar desde la imaginación narrativa las colecciones del Museo y que cuenta con Valerie Miles como asesora literaria del programa.
Durante su estancia en el Museo, el Premio Nobel mantuvo este coloquio abierto al público con su traductora al español, la filósofa y escritora, Mariana Dimópulos

The Nobel Prize in Literature for 2003, John Maxwell Coetzee, has been selected as the inaugural author to launch the ‘Writing the Prado’ project, a joint initiative with the Loewe Foundation that invites internationally renowned writers to engage with the Museum’s collections through narrative imagination. Valerie Miles serves as the literary advisor for the program.
During his stay at the Museum, the Nobel laureate held this public colloquium with his Spanish translator, the philosopher and writer, Mariana Dimópulos.
